According to PM Modi, the Ram temple would "continue to inspire" following the president's letter


Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a letter addressed to President Droupadi Murmu, shared his profound sentiments upon returning from the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. He expressed that the Ayodhya Dham experience had left an indelible mark on him, emphasizing its lasting impact.

Responding to President Murmu's letter, which conveyed nationwide celebratory sentiments surrounding the consecration of the Ram temple, Prime Minister Modi conveyed his heartfelt gratitude for her good wishes and affection. He highlighted the compassionate nature evident in every word of her letter and how it provided immense support and strength during a period of overwhelming emotions.

The Prime Minister expressed that being in a different state of mind when he received President Murmu's letter, it became a source of support and strength in handling those emotions. He described his visit to Ayodhya Dham as a pilgrim, where the convergence of faith and history was palpable.

Acknowledging the historic occasion as both a privilege and responsibility, Modi referenced President Murmu's mention of his 11-day religious exercise and the associated 'Yama-Niyams.' He reflected on the centuries-long resolves of countless individuals, culminating in the fulfillment of the dream for Ram Lalla to reside at his birthplace.

Modi expressed gratitude for the momentous experience of witnessing and welcoming Ram Lalla, attributing it to the blessings of Lord Shri Ram and the collective support of the people of India. He emphasized that the ideals of Lord Shri Ram serve as constant inspiration, especially in the social sphere.

In response to President Murmu's discussion of the PM-JANMAN scheme and the empowerment of extremely backward people in tribal society, Modi acknowledged her unique understanding as someone associated with the tribal community. He affirmed the transformative impact of initiatives like PM-JANMAN on the lives of people.

The Prime Minister asserted that Lord Shri Ram's ideals provide continuous energy for welfare works and empowerment campaigns for the poor. He attributed the success of the 'sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishvas aur sabka prayas' mantra to the inspiration drawn from Lord Shri Ram's life.

Modi highlighted the visible results of this mantra, with 25 crore people lifted out of poverty in the last decade. He stated that the eternal thoughts of Lord Ram form the foundation of India's glorious future and expressed confidence that these ideals would pave the way for a developed India by 2047.

Concluding the letter, Prime Minister Modi asserted that the grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya will serve as a perpetual source of inspiration, encouraging the creation of new paradigms of development and success.

President Murmu had earlier complimented Prime Minister Modi, anticipating the unique civilizational journey associated with the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. She conveyed heartfelt wishes, describing the celebratory atmosphere as an expression of India's eternal soul and the commencement of a new cycle in the nation's resurgence.
