Tragedy struck in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha as five individuals, comprising two children, tragically lost their lives due to suffocation. The unfortunate incident occurred when they decided to light a fire in their room and subsequently fell asleep.
In the aftermath, two additional individuals, including a woman, were rushed to the hospital for medical attention. Concerns arose among neighbors when the household members failed to appear in the afternoon, prompting an inquiry by the local community.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that the family members were found unconscious within the room. The emergency services were promptly summoned via the 108 helpline, and the affected individuals were swiftly transported to a government hospital.
Regrettably, one child passed away en route to the hospital, while the remaining four succumbed to their injuries during their hospitalization. The woman, undergoing treatment, was later referred to another medical facility.
Authorities were promptly notified, and a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident has been initiated by the police.
