Nithyananda going to the function at Ram Mandir? "He was invited," claims the rape suspect

The self-proclaimed spiritual leader and accused rapist, Nithyananda, asserted on Sunday that he will be present at the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Lord Ram's idol in the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Taking to X, he claimed to have received an invitation for the prestigious event, which is anticipated to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and various other dignitaries.

Referring to himself as 'Bhagavan' (God), the fugitive rape accused shared an elaborate account of his schedule for the January 22 event in a tweet. In addition to detailing the proceedings of the Ayodhya ceremony, his social media post shed light on the programs scheduled in his self-proclaimed country, The United States of Kailasa.

"2 More Days Until the Inauguration of Ayodhya Ram Mandir! Don't miss this historic and extraordinary event! Lord Rama will be formally invoked in the temple's main deity during the traditional Prana Pratishtha and will be landing to grace the entire world!" he expressed in his detailed post.

The post further stated, "Having been formally invited, THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM will be attending this grand event."

The outlined schedule included various activities in his claimed country, such as Sri Rama Puja in KAILASA's Global Temples, Muktikopanishad Chanting, Akhanda Rama Japa, VIP hosting, and the inauguration darshan of Sri Rama Mandir, among other events.

A rape case was filed against Nithyananda in 2010 based on a complaint by his former driver, leading to his arrest and subsequent release on bail. However, his bail was revoked after allegations that he had escaped the country. Nithyananda resurfaced in 2020, claiming to have established The United States of Kailasa. The pending rape case in the Ramanagara Sessions Court has seen no appearance from the godman since 2019.

In 2023, a delegation representing The United States of Kailasa participated in a United Nations meeting, with a woman named Ma Vijayapriya Nithyananda claiming to be the "Permanent Ambassador of Kailasa to the UN." The global organization later clarified that Kailasa participated as an NGO.
