Ram is revered by all, says KCR party leader K Kavitha in response to not receiving an invitation

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha asserted that her political party did not receive an official invitation for the upcoming Lord Ram's Pran Prathistha (consecration) ceremony scheduled to transpire in Ayodhya. In anticipation of the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir set for Monday, K Kavitha, a prominent figure within the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), conveyed on Sunday that her party had not been extended an invitation to partake in the significant Pran Prathistha ceremony in Ayodhya.

Addressing the matter, K Kavitha emphasized the inclusive nature of devotion to Lord Ram, stating, "We have not been invited. But Shri Ram is everybody's god. We are practicing Hindus, so we will certainly visit Ayodhya one day," as reported by the news agency ANI.

The highly anticipated consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is poised to unfold in a grand ceremony, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi actively participating in the sacred rituals. After the Pran Pratishtha, the temple will be accessible to the general public.

Despite the extensive guest list comprising over 7,000 individuals for this monumental event, numerous opposition leaders, including those from the Congress party, have opted to abstain from attending, characterizing the occasion as a BJP-RSS event.

Earlier in the day, Uddhav Thackeray, the president of Shiv Sena (UBT) and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, received an invitation via speed post for the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony. In response, Sanjay Raut, a prominent member of the party and a Rajya Sabha MP, sharply criticized the mode of invitation, asserting, "You worship Lord Ram, and rule like Ravan (demon king). Lord Ram will curse you. All film stars are invited but the Thackeray family that has been closely associated with the movement is treated in such a manner."

While a comprehensive list of 7,000 invitees encompasses a diverse array of individuals, a select group of 506 A-listers, including Bollywood luminaries such as Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhat, Madhuri Dixit, and stalwarts from various fields such as business tycoons Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, as well as sporting icon Sachin Tendulkar, are anticipated to grace the momentous occasion with their presence.
