The driver's detailed report of Suchana Seth's 12-hour journey with her son's body in a bag

Recounting the unsettling incident to India Today TV, Rayjohn D'Souza, the cab driver tasked with transporting Suchana Seth, the Bengaluru CEO implicated in the alleged murder of her four-year-old son, shared a chilling narrative of the 12-hour journey that unfolded with the lifeless body of the child concealed in a bag.

In a detailed account of events, D'Souza revealed that Suchana Seth's demeanor had raised suspicions right from the onset of their journey. The unsettling nature of her behavior prompted him to question the weightiness of her bag, unaware that it concealed the lifeless form of her four-year-old son.

The narrative unfolded on January 7, when D'Souza received a call from 'Sol Banyan Grande,' a service apartment in North Goa's Candolim. The call urgently required him to transport a woman, identified as Suchana Seth, to Bengaluru. Responding promptly, D'Souza, along with another driver, arrived at the service apartment at 12:30 am. Suchana boarded the cab at 1 am, and D'Souza was tasked with carrying her heavy black bag.

Reflecting on the journey, D'Souza recalled asking Suchana about the bag's weight, suggesting the possibility of liquor bottles. She affirmed this, claiming the bag indeed contained liquor bottles. Despite the unusual weight, D'Souza proceeded without suspecting the disturbing truth.

Throughout the lengthy journey, Suchana Seth maintained an eerie silence, making only one stop for a water bottle. Notably, even when faced with a significant roadblock at the Goa-Karnataka border, resulting in a four-hour delay, Seth displayed no signs of impatience or panic.

D'Souza recounted offering Suchana the option to take a U-turn and head to the airport due to the prolonged traffic jam, but she declined, expressing a willingness to wait until the traffic cleared. This peculiar response left D'Souza puzzled, sensing an incongruity between her urgency to reach her destination and her apparent nonchalance during the traffic delay.

The turning point came when Goa Police contacted D'Souza after they discovered bloodstains in Suchana Seth's room, suspecting the presence of a child who was no longer there. Subsequent calls from the police revealed inconsistencies in the information provided by Seth, confirming D'Souza's growing certainty that something was amiss.

Directed by the police to stop at the nearest police station, D'Souza faced a dilemma as the closest station required a U-turn. Fearful of alarming Seth, he opted to seek directions from a local restaurant before ultimately reaching the police station.

As the investigation unfolded, the police searched D'Souza's vehicle and made the grim discovery of the child's lifeless body concealed within the bag. Remarkably, throughout this harrowing ordeal, Suchana Seth maintained a calm and composed demeanor, exhibiting no signs of nervousness or distress. Even when confronted with the devastating revelation, she remained seemingly unfazed.
