15 people are hurt and 4 people dead after a bus and trucks collide in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh

In a tragic incident that occurred during the intervening night between Saturday and Sunday, a collision between a truck and a passenger bus in Andhra Pradesh's Nellore district resulted in the loss of at least four lives and left 15 others injured.

The collision took place at the Musunur toll plaza in Nellore when a truck, transporting livestock, veered out of control and collided with another truck loaded with iron. The impact of this collision caused the iron-laden truck to lose control and crash into a passenger bus traveling in the opposite direction.

Upon receiving reports of the accident, police authorities swiftly responded to the scene and promptly transported the injured individuals to a nearby government hospital for urgent medical treatment. Meanwhile, the deceased victims were taken for postmortem examinations.

Providing details on the unfortunate incident, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the Kavali area, Venkataramana, stated, "A truck carrying livestock from Hyderabad to Srikalahasti lost control near Kavali and collided with the truck ahead, which was loaded with iron. Tragically, the driver of the bus and another individual lost their lives on the spot, while the remaining individuals involved sustained injuries and were subsequently transferred to Kavali Hospital for medical care."

This incident follows a similar tragedy that occurred last month, where three individuals lost their lives and several others were injured in a head-on collision between two cars in Andhra Pradesh's Devarapalli Mandal.
