Sadhguru was released from the Delhi hospital following urgent brain surgery

Spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev was discharged from the Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in Delhi on Wednesday after undergoing emergency brain surgery.

Sadhguru underwent the surgery on March 17 after complaining of severe headaches for a few weeks.

Dr Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, stated, "The doctors have expressed satisfaction with his recovery and healing. Sadhguru, even as he is recovering, has maintained the same spirit. His commitment to the global good, his sharp mind, and his sense of humor are all intact."

According to a statement from the Isha Foundation, Sadhguru underwent an MRI scan on March 15, which revealed massive bleeding in the brain. Despite this, he continued with his commitments, including attending the India Today Conclave, albeit under the influence of powerful painkillers and sedation.

The statement further explained that Sadhguru experienced multiple bleedings in the brain before being hospitalized due to a severe headache. Subsequently, he underwent emergency brain surgery at the Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals.

Dr Vinit Suri, who led the surgery, mentioned that Sadhguru has shown steady progress, with his brain, body, and vital parameters improving to normal levels.
