A Karnataka guy hires goons to murder his family, but the scheme fails

The tragic incident in Karnataka's Gadag area unfolded when Vinayak Bakale, a 31-year-old real-estate agent, conspired with seven individuals to carry out a heinous act. His plan, involving a deal of Rs 65 lakh, aimed to eliminate his father, stepmother, and half-brother.

However, the execution of this plan went horribly wrong. The hired goons mistakenly targeted Vinayak's relatives, resulting in the tragic deaths of his stepbrother Karthik Bakale, along with some guests who were present at the residence.

Among the victims were Karthik (27) and the guests Parashuram Hadimani (55), Lakshmi Hadimani (45), and Akanksha Hadimani (16).

The motive behind Vinayak's drastic actions stemmed from property-related disputes within the family. Reports suggest that frequent quarrels over property matters between Vinayak and his father, Prakash Bakale, strained their relationship. Vinayak's decision to sell off properties without his father's consent exacerbated the tensions between them.

Furthermore, Karthik Bakale's equal stake in the family properties added another layer of contention, potentially fueling Vinayak's sinister plan.

The individuals hired by Vinayak, namely Fairoz, Jishan, Sahil, Sohail, Sultan Sheikh, Mahesh Salunke, and Waheed Bepari, were swiftly apprehended by law enforcement authorities. Their involvement in the crime was uncovered, and they were taken into custody within a few days of the incident.

Vikas Kumar, the Inspector General of Police of the Northern Range, confirmed the details of the case, highlighting the promised payment of Rs 65 lakh to the contract killers through Fairoz.

This tragic incident serves as a grim reminder of the devastating consequences that arise from unresolved family disputes and the extreme measures individuals may resort to in moments of conflict.
