Bharadwaj elaborated, highlighting an anecdote where, during the celebration of Hanuman Jayanti, it was believed that Lord Hanuman bestowed insulin upon Kejriwal on his 'janmotsav' (birth anniversary), a gesture of divine intervention when the Tihar Jail administration and Central government allegedly withheld the required dosage despite repeated appeals from the AAP leader.
Bharadwaj's narrative emerged following reports of Kejriwal's medical condition deteriorating, prompting concerns about his Type-2 Diabetes. He emphasized the significance of Hanuman Jayanti, symbolized by the sight of the Delhi Health Minister carrying a mace adorned with what seemed to be insulin vials, accompanied by a symbolic representation of Lord Hanuman carrying oversized insulin vials. When questioned about the perceived political symbolism amid the election season, Bharadwaj clarified that their reverence for Lord Hanuman transcends politics, emphasizing Kejriwal's longstanding devotion to the deity.
Drawing parallels between Kejriwal's plight and instances from Hindu mythology, Bharadwaj likened Hanuman's providence of insulin to Kejriwal to Hanuman's legendary retrieval of the 'Sanjeevani' for Lord Ram. Subsequently, a source from Tihar Jail confirmed the administration's decision to administer two units of insulin to Kejriwal, following medical advice from AIIMS specialists.
