Arvind Kejriwal received insulin from Hanuman ji: Saurabh Bharadwaj

During the recent roadshow featuring BJP Meerut candidate Arun Govil, renowned for his portrayal of Lord Ram in the iconic TV series 'Ramayan,' a distressing incident unfolded in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Among the multitude of attendees was businessman Kulbhushan, whose enthusiasm led him to raise both hands and joyously chant 'Jai Shri Ram' as the procession passed by his shop. Little did he know that amidst the bustling crowd, his wallet containing Rs 36,000 had been stealthily pilfered.

Kulbhushan's unfortunate experience was not an isolated incident, as a dozen individuals, including journalists and even Alok Sisodia, a coordinator for the BJP in the western region, fell victim to similar thefts during the event. The chaos and excitement of the roadshow provided cover for miscreants to capitalize on the situation and perpetrate these acts of thievery.

Prompt action by the police led to the apprehension of three suspects, all hailing from Delhi, and the recovery of stolen mobile phones. Additionally, a vehicle with a Delhi registration was seized as part of the investigation. However, the ordeal serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerability that can accompany large public gatherings, especially during heightened political activities.

As the Meerut constituency in Western Uttar Pradesh prepares for the upcoming elections, scheduled for the second phase on April 26, the incident underscores the need for enhanced security measures to safeguard both property and personal belongings amidst the fervor of political rallies and campaigns.
