Rajveer Diler, a BJP MP from Hathras, passes away from a heart attack

Rajveer Diler, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament representing Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, passed away on Wednesday following a heart attack.

Having secured victory in the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, Diler has been an active presence in the political arena. However, he was not nominated as a candidate for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by the BJP.

Before his tenure in the Parliament, Diler had served as a Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, representing the constituency of Iglas, in 2017. Subsequently, he transitioned to the national stage by winning a seat in the Lok Sabha, leading to his resignation from the state assembly.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his condolences for the Hathras MP, highlighting Diler's unwavering commitment to public service and the BJP organization. Shah's tribute conveyed the sentiment of an irreplaceable loss to both the constituency and the BJP fraternity, extending sympathies to the bereaved family and supporters. He concluded with a prayer for the departed soul's eternal peace and solace.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also mourned the demise of the BJP MP, underscoring the significance of Diler's contributions and expressing solidarity with those affected by his passing.
