Justin Bieber is mourning the loss of his grandfather, Bruce Dale, who passed away at the age of 80. In a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, Justin shared personal memories from his childhood with his late grandfather. He recalled how he would often convince Bruce to spend his allowance, writing, "I always took all ur money lol. I remember u specifically telling me, gramma gave u an allowance of 20 dollars for the WEEK! I would always convince you to spend on snacks at the hockey game on Friday nights. Reluctantly, you always gave it to me."
He continued with fondness, describing Bruce as a bold character who wasn’t shy in expressing his opinions, particularly when it came to hockey referees. "For enduring all of my grandpas heckling for all of your horrible referee calls lmfao, my grandpa wasn’t shy in letting them know that they were being pieces of shits." Justin expressed how much he will miss him and eagerly looks forward to reuniting in heaven. "I can’t wait to see u again soon in heaven. Until then I know ur watching down probly still heckling Beatty or Fagon for missing that cross check call in the corner there lmfao," he wrote.
Bruce Dale, Justin's maternal grandfather and the father of his mother, Pattie Mallette, played a supportive role in Justin’s rise to fame. Justin ended the tribute by expressing his deep sense of loss and the bittersweet feeling of remembering the special moments they shared.
