Manchu Manoj and Silambarasan TR (Simbu) are creating quite a buzz as their films, Bhairavam and Thug Life, gear up for release just a week apart. At the Bhairavam Grand Pre-Release Event, a spontaneous and heartwarming moment unfolded when Manoj called Simbu on stage.
Simbu described Manoj as someone who responds with double the love if shown kindness but warns that anger can lead to trouble—so it’s best to stay on Manoj’s good side. He also expressed pride in their friendship, which spans over a decade, recalling how he lent his voice to a hit song in Manoj’s 2013 film Potugadu.
Manoj, in turn, wished Simbu all the best for Thug Life, teasing him about working with the legendary Kamal Haasan and joking about jealousy over their collaboration. Simbu praised Bhairavam’s trailer and wished Manoj success. Their friendly banter, including Manoj jokingly asking Simbu to Gpay him Rs 10,000, had the audience roaring with laughter.
Bhairavam, directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, stars Manoj alongside Nara Rohit, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, and Aditi Shankar, and is set to release on May 30, 2025. Thug Life, featuring Kamal Haasan, Simbu, Trisha Krishnan, and Joju George, will hit theatres on June 5, 2025. With such camaraderie off-screen, fans are eagerly anticipating the energy both films will bring to the big screen.
