R&B singer and actress Cassie Ventura, known simply as Cassie, has welcomed her third child, a baby boy, in New York. This happy news arrived just days after she completed her testimony in the widely publicized federal sex trafficking trial against music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.
At 38, Cassie testified earlier this month over four days while visibly pregnant. During her testimony, she shared painful accounts of alleged physical and sexual abuse during her decade-long relationship with Combs. She detailed instances of assault and being forced into exploitative situations, shedding light on the trauma she endured.
Combs' stylist, Deonte Nash, who once worked closely with Combs’ company, confirmed in court that he had called Cassie the day before to personally congratulate her on her newborn son.
Cassie and fitness trainer Alex Fine, her husband since 2019, have two daughters: Frankie Stone Fine, born in 2019, and Sunny Cinco Fine, born in 2021. The couple now welcomes their third child together.
Cassie’s role as a key witness in the trial against Combs, who faces serious charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, has been crucial. Prosecutors allege that Combs exploited his influence in the entertainment industry to coerce women, including Cassie, into drug use and sexual exploitation involving others.
Cassie made the courageous choice to identify herself publicly, hoping her testimony encourages others who have experienced abuse to speak out. While she has not made any public statements about the birth since leaving court, her earlier remarks emphasized her focus on healing and recovery after years marked by trauma and fear. Neither Cassie nor her husband’s representatives have responded to media inquiries regarding the birth so far.
