Terrorists asked Modi, to which he responded: The widow of a Navy officer commends Operation Sindoor

Himanshi Narwal, the widow of Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who was killed in the brutal April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, has powerfully voiced her support for Operation Sindoor, calling it a “befitting reply” to the perpetrators behind the massacre that claimed 26 lives.

In an emotional statement, Himanshi recalled the horror of that day, when she begged the terrorists for mercy, telling them it had only been six days since her wedding. Their chilling response—“Ask Modi for that”—underscored the cruelty of the attack. In her words, "Modi ji and our Army have now given them the answer."

She expressed a bittersweet sense of closure:

“There is satisfaction that the Pahalgam attack has been avenged. But there is also deep sorrow — Vinay and the 26 others are no longer with us.”

Himanshi also addressed the criticism she faced earlier for advocating unity and peace amid grief. She clarified that her call for Hindu-Muslim unity and empathy for Kashmiris was twisted and met with abuse, despite her standing as the wife of a martyred soldier.

“I held out alone for two hours in Pahalgam… Today's strike has done justice. It has restored the pride of every Indian.”

Her voice adds a deeply personal and poignant layer to the public response following India’s pre-dawn precision strikes that neutralized over 80 terrorists across nine key terror hubs in Pakistan and POK, including Jaish-e-Mohammed’s base in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s headquarters in Muridke.
