Earlier that day, Karisma was spotted at Mumbai’s private airport with her children, Samaira and Kiaan, as they travelled to the capital. They were later joined by Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, who also attended the ceremony to offer support and condolences.
Photos from the ceremony showed Karisma and her children standing beside Priya Sachdev during the prayer rituals. Kareena and Saif were also seen at the venue, paying their final respects in what appeared to be a deeply emotional and dignified moment shared by the family.
Sunjay Kapur died after reportedly suffering a heart attack while playing polo in London on June 13. A day before the prayer meet, a distressing video went viral on social media showing his final moments. In the video, medical personnel are seen performing CPR on a man, with ambulances and a helicopter present at the scene, highlighting the suddenness and seriousness of the medical emergency.
