The AI+ smartphone, which is designed and manufactured in India, was first released in India at a starting price of Rs 4,499

Former Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has launched his new brand, NxtQuantum, and introduced the Ai+ Smartphone in India today. The company calls it the "first fully India-authored smartphone"—built in India, running on a new operating system called NxtQuantum OS, which they claim is India’s first sovereign mobile OS.

At the launch event, Sheth said the goal is to give Indian users more control over their data and reduce dependence on foreign-made phones. He said, “Ai+ Smartphone is about putting control back in the hands of Indian users.”

There are two models:

  • Pulse – starting at ₹4,499

  • Nova 5G – starting at ₹7,499
Both have a 6.7-inch HD+ display, 50MP dual AI camera, 5,000mAh battery, side fingerprint sensor, and expandable memory up to 1TB. They're powered by T615 (Pulse) and T8200 (Nova 5G) chips, and come in five colours.

The phones support multiple Indian languages and offer a customizable interface using the Theme Designer Tool.

Flipkart VP Smrithi Ravichandran said demand is growing for smartphones that are both affordable and trustworthy, and praised the Ai+ for combining performance, privacy, and purpose.

The phones will go on flash sale:

  • Pulse on July 12

  • Nova 5G on July 13

Launch offers include Axis Bank discounts and exchange deals.

Sheth added, “For years, we’ve used phones not made for India. Ai+ Smartphone changes that—it's fast, stylish, and keeps your data safe.”
