CMF, a sub-brand of the tech company Nothing, is moving its global marketing operations to India. The announcement was made by Akis Evangelidis, Nothing’s co-founder and India President. This shift is part of CMF’s goal to grow into a global brand built from India for the world.
The company’s Gurgaon office will now be home to key global roles, including heads of marketing, social media, PR, and content creation. Job openings for these roles are already live.
Evangelidis said the move will help CMF work faster and stay closer to its most important market—India.
He said, “We have a real chance to build something special with CMF. Being in India will help us move faster and build better for the market that matters most.”
CMF is known for stylish, affordable tech products like earbuds, phones, and accessories. By relocating, CMF hopes to better understand Indian consumer needs, run quicker campaigns, and align product development with local demand.
Nothing’s founder Carl Pei added, “India is CMF’s most important and fastest-growing market. We're excited to build in India—for the world.”
Nothing already manufactures much of its hardware in India. This move shows the country is becoming more than just a market—it’s becoming a global hub for leadership and innovation.
It also reflects a wider trend. With government schemes like “Make in India” and PLI encouraging investment, more tech companies are now choosing India for global operations.
