Police sources stated that statements from the student, the constable involved, and eyewitnesses are being recorded as part of the investigation. The ACP in charge has been tasked with preparing a detailed report on the incident and recommending further disciplinary action.
The Uttar Pradesh Police have also reiterated their commitment to ensuring that law enforcement personnel uphold the rights and dignity of citizens, especially minors and students, while performing their duties.
Meanwhile, the affected student has been medically examined, and a complaint has been formally lodged. Authorities are examining whether any additional charges, including use of excessive force and intimidation, could be filed against the officer.
