Albinder Dhindsa will succeed Deepinder Goyal as Eternal CEO of Zomato

Eternal, the parent company of food delivery platform Zomato, announced a major leadership transition on Wednesday, with founder Deepinder Goyal stepping down as chief executive officer and managing director. Goyal will move into the role of vice chairman and continue as a director on the company’s board. The board has appointed Albinder Singh Dhindsa, currently the chief executive of Blinkit, as the new CEO of Eternal, with the changes taking effect from February 1, 2026.

Alongside the leadership change, Eternal reported a sequential increase in profit for the third quarter, supported by strong demand for quick-delivery services. The company operates both Zomato and Blinkit, and said momentum in quick commerce continued to be a key growth driver.

The Gurugram-based firm posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1.02 billion for the quarter ended December 31, almost double the Rs 650 million reported in the previous quarter. Consolidated revenue from operations during the third quarter stood at Rs 163.15 billion.

Eternal said the improvement in earnings was led by sustained expansion in its quick commerce business through Blinkit, complemented by steady performance in its core food delivery operations.
