The Chhattisgarh government claims there is no evidence and refutes rumors of a private aviation crash

The Chhattisgarh government has dismissed reports of a private aircraft crash in Jashpur district, stating that no evidence has been found to support such claims. The clarification came after initial reports suggested that a private plane had gone down on a hillside in the Jashpur-Narayanpur region, allegedly resulting in fatalities.

Authorities said that despite these reports, there has been no confirmation of any crash from either the state administration or the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Officials also noted that no local residents reported hearing any explosion or impact sound, which would typically accompany an aircraft दुर्घटना.

The confusion appears to have stemmed from sightings of thick smoke in the Narayanpur area of Jashpur district. Following these reports, senior officials, including Collector Rohit Vyas and Senior Superintendent of Police Lal Umend Singh, visited the location and conducted a detailed inspection of the site.

After surveying the area, officials stated that no debris, wreckage, or any other signs of an aircraft crash were found. Local villagers were also questioned, but none reported any unusual sounds or incidents that would indicate a crash had occurred.

To ensure thorough verification, teams from the police, district administration, and forest department have been deployed in the region. Drone cameras are being used to scan the terrain and monitor the situation more closely.

At present, authorities have concluded that there is no evidence of any aircraft crash in the area. Investigations are ongoing to determine the source of the smoke and to rule out any other possible causes.
