NDA leaders will highlight 22 significant accomplishments from the 12-year PM Modi-led government

As the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approaches the completion of 12 years in office, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Union government have prepared a large-scale nationwide outreach campaign aimed at showcasing what they describe as the administration’s “22 major achievements” across multiple sectors, including welfare, infrastructure, governance, economic reforms and national security.

According to sources, the campaign will involve an extensive and coordinated public engagement exercise featuring Union ministers, BJP chief ministers, Members of Parliament and senior party leaders travelling across different states to directly interact with citizens through press conferences, public meetings, beneficiary interactions and media briefings.

The outreach strategy has reportedly been carefully structured, with senior leaders assigned specific themes and geographical regions to ensure coordinated messaging throughout the country.

Sources indicated that the campaign framework has been divided into five broad thematic pillars, under which the government plans to highlight 22 separate areas of achievement and governance performance over the past twelve years.

The first category, titled “Lokseva,” will primarily focus on welfare-oriented initiatives and schemes aimed at improving the lives of the poor, farmers, middle-class families and beneficiaries of public healthcare programmes.

Under this pillar, the government is expected to emphasise welfare delivery systems, direct benefit transfers, food security measures, rural support schemes and healthcare expansion initiatives introduced during the Modi administration.

The second pillar, called “Sashaktikaran,” has been designed around empowerment-focused programmes. This section of the campaign will highlight initiatives related to women’s empowerment, youth opportunities, farmer empowerment and welfare measures targeting socially and economically deprived communities.

Government leaders are expected to showcase schemes involving women-led development, entrepreneurship, employment generation, education support and skill development programmes under this category.

The third major segment, titled “Rashtra Nirman,” will focus on broader nation-building initiatives. This section is expected to prominently feature the government’s claims regarding economic development, large-scale infrastructure expansion and modernisation projects undertaken during the BJP government’s tenure.

Themes under this pillar will include roads, railways, airports, digital infrastructure, industrial growth, scientific advancement, technology development, ease of doing business reforms, ease of living initiatives and special focus on the development of the North-Eastern states.

The fourth pillar, “Rashtra Pratham,” will centre on issues connected to national interest and security. Under this segment, the government intends to highlight achievements related to national security, foreign policy, anti-terror operations and measures taken against Naxalism.

This category is also expected to include references to India’s global diplomatic positioning, strategic defence preparedness, border security and the government’s approach toward internal security challenges.

The final category, titled “Virasat Bhi, Vikas Bhi,” will focus on heritage, culture and environmental themes. Under this segment, leaders are expected to highlight efforts relating to heritage conservation, promotion of Indian culture, wildlife protection, environmental initiatives and sustainable development measures.

Sources within the BJP stated that the campaign has been specifically designed to communicate the achievements of nearly every major ministry and government department in a structured and coordinated manner down to the grassroots level.

Union ministers and party leaders are expected to present statistical data, implementation records, flagship scheme details and comparative governance indicators to reinforce the government’s narrative regarding its performance during the past twelve years.

The campaign is also likely to focus heavily on digital governance, welfare delivery mechanisms, economic reforms, infrastructure growth and India’s rising global profile under the Modi government.

At the same time, political observers believe the outreach effort is intended to directly counter Opposition criticism on issues such as unemployment, inflation, social tensions and economic inequality.

According to BJP leaders, the exercise will go beyond conventional political rallies and include targeted engagement with intellectuals, professionals, social groups and digital audiences through social media campaigns and district-level outreach programmes.

Party functionaries reportedly described the initiative as an attempt to strengthen public messaging ahead of upcoming elections while reinforcing the government’s broader political narrative built around “development, delivery and decisive leadership.”

The campaign is expected to continue over the coming weeks with coordinated events being organised across multiple states as the BJP seeks to consolidate its governance record before voters and shape the political discourse around its 12-year tenure at the Centre.
