According to officials, one of the most significant revelations during the probe was the alleged involvement of the driver of a Dial 112 emergency response vehicle. Investigators suspect that the driver may have colluded with the traffickers, potentially assisting them in carrying out their activities. In addition to the action taken against the driver, a sub-inspector attached to the same unit has also been suspended. Authorities stated that the officer was suspended because of his alleged absence from duty during a period relevant to the investigation. The findings of the inquiry also led senior police authorities to take action against the officer in charge of the local police station. The station house officer was suspended on allegations of dereliction of duty, with investigators seeking to determine whether lapses in supervision or enforcement contributed to the circumstances that allowed the trafficking operation to function.

Madhubani Superintendent of Police Yogendra Kumar emphasised that the department would not tolerate negligence or participation in unlawful activities at any level of the police hierarchy. He stated that maintaining public trust and accountability within the force remains a priority and that strict action would be taken against anyone found responsible for misconduct.
Given the gravity of the case and the allegations involving law enforcement personnel, the matter has also attracted the attention of senior officials at the regional level. Deputy Inspector General of Police Manoj Kumar Tiwari, who oversees the Mithila Range, personally visited the police station concerned and reviewed the progress of the investigation.
