The makers of Mirzapur: The Movie have released new character posters introducing Jitendra Kumar as Bablu Pandit, Abhishek Banerjee as Compounder, and Ravi Kishan as Babban Babua. These releases come after the teaser, which already brought back familiar characters like Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit, and Munna Bhaiya.
The new posters highlight the three characters individually. Bablu Pandit, played by Jitendra Kumar, is seen holding a gun. In the first season of the series, the character was originally played by Vikrant Massey. Abhishek Banerjee continues in his role as Compounder with his established screen presence.
Ravi Kishan joins the franchise as Babban Babua, shown with a strong and commanding appearance, marking a new addition to the Mirzapur universe.
The makers have said the film will carry forward the signature “bhaukaal” style of Mirzapur on the big screen, and each new reveal has been designed to build anticipation.
Mirzapur: The Movie is presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, directed by Gurmmeet Singh, and written by Puneet Krishna. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, with Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani as co-producers.
The film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on September 4, 2026, in Hindi and Telugu, with the latest posters expanding the character lineup introduced in the teaser.
