According to authorities, a Muslim man was detained in the Sahibganj area of Jharkhand for reportedly hiding his identity, enticing a female into a relationship, abusing her sexually, and marrying her at a temple while pretending to be Hindu. In order to conceal his identity, the accused, Manowar Ansari, is said to have introduced himself to the girl as "Manohar."
Following a police complaint from the girl's mother, he was taken into custody and placed under judicial custody. The kid left the house on July 15, claiming to be heading to school, which is when the incident was discovered, according to the FIR. Her mother was notified that her daughter had been assaulted at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Additionally, the mother of the kid claimed that the accused had been harassing her daughter for a while. She said that on June 29, Ansari reportedly convinced the juvenile to go with him to Ranchi, where he had sex with her. Police started an investigation after receiving the complaint, and on Thursday they took the accused into custody.
Later, the minor was brought before a magistrate, and her mother and maternal uncle were present while her statement was recorded. The issue is being looked into further.
