According to a leaked video, Samsung is developing smart glasses to compete with Meta Ray-Ban

Samsung's long-rumoured AI smart glasses appear to be moving closer to launch, with a new leak offering the clearest look yet at the wearable. An alleged promotional video suggests the Galaxy Glasses will feature a lightweight, sunglasses-like design with built-in cameras, touch controls, speakers and AI-powered features, positioning them as Samsung's answer to Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses.

The glasses are expected to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon AR1 chip and use Google's Gemini AI through Android XR. Rumoured features include hands-free photo and video capture, live translation, navigation, voice assistance, music playback and seamless integration with Galaxy smartphones. They are also tipped to include a 12MP camera, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, photochromic lenses, a 155mAh battery and a weight of around 50g.

While Samsung has not officially confirmed the device, reports suggest it could unveil the Galaxy Glasses at its Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22. Until then, all specifications and features remain based on leaks.
