Paraak: Sriimurali's teaser is the most fashionable action teaser in Kannada cinema

The teaser of Sriimurali's Paraak has finally been released, with its slick action choreography emerging as the biggest highlight. Soon after the teaser dropped, several fans on social media compared its hand-to-hand combat sequences and staging to those seen in Korean action films.

The makers unveiled the official teaser on Sunday, offering the first glimpse of Sriimurali's upcoming action entertainer following Bagheera. Packed with stylised visuals, high-octane action and the actor's rugged new look, the teaser has generated significant buzz, particularly for its action design.

Shortly after its release, social media was flooded with praise for the film's combat sequences. Many viewers drew comparisons to Korean action cinema, highlighting the fast-paced choreography, grounded fight scenes and crisp staging. The action quickly became one of the most talked-about aspects of the teaser, making Paraak one of the day's most-discussed Kannada releases.

The teaser also introduces Sriimurali in a noticeably leaner and more intense avatar. Sporting a rugged appearance and a visibly transformed physique, the actor appears to have undergone another significant physical makeover after Bagheera. While the teaser hints at a blend of stylised action and emotional storytelling, the makers have kept the film's plot under wraps.

Directed by Halesh Kogundi, Paraak is produced by Brand Studios and features music by Charan Raj MR, whose background score enhances the teaser's action-packed presentation. The film's action sequences have been choreographed by stunt director Dr K. Ravivarma, while cinematography is by Sandeep Valluri.

Sriimurali was last seen in Bagheera, the 2024 Kannada superhero film written by Prashanth Neel and directed by Dr Suri. Paraak is planned as a pan-India release, although its theatrical release date has not yet been announced.
