Actor Radhika Sarathkumar claims to have witnessed Suriya battle and conquer psychological obstacles

Actor Radhika Sarathkumar opened up about Suriya’s personal struggles during the success meet of Vishwanath & Sons, saying she had witnessed the actor go through a challenging period and eventually overcome it. The two actors, who have shared a close relationship for years, recently reunited on screen in Venky Atluri’s film, which has emerged as a box-office success within its first week.

At the event, Radhika, who portrays Suriya’s mother in the film, thanked director Venky Atluri and the rest of the cast for their support. She then spoke at length about Suriya, who was not present at the ceremony, and said she felt particularly close to him because she had personally seen the difficulties he had faced and his journey towards overcoming them.

Speaking at the event, Radhika said she felt more connected to Suriya like a family member because she had seen his struggles and the pain he experienced. She noted that while many people face difficulties in their film careers, dealing with personal and mental challenges is a different battle altogether. She added that Suriya had managed to overcome those struggles and said she felt genuinely proud whenever she saw him.

Radhika also described Suriya as someone who keeps his emotions private and rarely opens up. According to her, he speaks freely only with a small circle of people, and she was among those close to him with whom he would often talk. She recalled advising him on different matters, telling him what he should or should not do.
