Social media influencer Shreya Kalra was crowned the winner of Lock Upp Season 2, taking home the winner's trophy along with the Rs 1 crore cash prize. Hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan announced the result during the grand finale, with Shivangi Joshi finishing as the first runner-up.
The top five finalists also included Ram Kapoor, Yogesh Rawat and Shilpa Shinde. In the final moments of the show, as Shreya and Shivangi awaited the verdict, Riteish and Farah declared Shreya the winner. An emotional Shreya embraced Shilpa Shinde after the latter came on stage to congratulate her.
Clearly overwhelmed by the victory, Shreya kissed the trophy after receiving it from Riteish, who then signed off and officially concluded the season.
Ram Kapoor was the first finalist to be eliminated, followed by Shilpa Shinde and Yogesh Rawat.
Throughout Lock Upp Season 2, Shreya established herself as one of the show's most talked-about contestants. From the beginning, she remained at the centre of the action, engaging in heated arguments with several housemates, including Shilpa Shinde and Akanksha Chamola. Her outspoken nature, coupled with emotional revelations, kept her in the spotlight and fuelled discussions on social media.
As the game progressed, Shreya demonstrated strong strategic gameplay, successfully navigating house dynamics to reach the finale. One of her biggest moves came during the penultimate stage, when she used her special advantage to avoid elimination and influence the voting process, putting her key rivals at a disadvantage.
Although her aggressive approach and shifting alliances often created friction with fellow contestants, they also ensured she remained central to the show's biggest moments. Combining solid performances in tasks with calculated decision-making, Shreya outlasted several experienced television personalities to secure her place among the finalists.
As the finale concluded, Shivangi Joshi, who narrowly missed out on the title, appeared emotional while trying to hold back tears. The camera also captured a visibly disappointed Harshad Chopda.
Lock Upp Season 2 featured several dramatic twists that divided viewers over the eventual winner. Before the finale, Harshad Chopda was eliminated after choosing to make Shivangi Joshi the show's first finalist. The final stages of the competition also saw Shreya Kalra use her special advantage to eliminate Shivangi, a move that sparked strong reactions inside the jail.
According to host Riteish Deshmukh, Harshad had earlier been given an opportunity to make Shivangi the first finalist while ensuring both of them remained safe, but he ultimately chose to use that opportunity for himself.
