Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 has made a powerful debut at the box office, earning an estimated Rs 125.25 crore worldwide on its first day. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film released in theatres on October 15 during Dussehra. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, it collected Rs 59.70 crore nett in India, while its overseas gross stood at Rs 55 crore.
The film’s domestic gross reached Rs 70.25 crore, pushing its worldwide opening collection beyond Rs 125 crore. These figures are preliminary estimates and may vary slightly from the final official numbers.

Estimates indicate that Jailer 2 registered an overall theatre occupancy of 55.4 per cent across languages on its opening day. The Tamil version contributed the most to domestic earnings, followed by Telugu and Hindi, while Kannada made a relatively smaller contribution.
The Tamil version was the biggest contributor to the film’s Indian collections, earning Rs 43.35 crore nett. Telugu screenings generated Rs 12.50 crore, while the Hindi version collected Rs 3.50 crore. The Kannada version earned Rs 35 lakh nett.
The film recorded 37,46,734 footfalls on its opening day.
