The internet reacts that fans' 2026 card did not have Sai Pallavi singing a lovely bhajan

Sai Pallavi brought a devotional touch to the promotions of Ramayana: Rise of a Legend by singing a traditional bhajan at the film’s pre-release event in Hyderabad on Monday. The actor, who portrays Goddess Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s epic, sang off-stage to enthusiastic applause, creating a soulful moment during an otherwise energetic evening.

Dressed in a pink saree, Sai Pallavi was asked to sing by host Suma. After briefly hesitating, the actor asked if she could perform a bhajan instead. She then began singing the devotional song with a smile, prompting loud cheers from fans standing behind her. Videos of the moment soon circulated on X and Instagram.

Fans praised her performance, with many appreciating how she brought a sense of devotion to an event celebrating one of India’s most revered epics. Given that she plays Sita in the film, the moment struck many as particularly appropriate.

The event took place at the JRC Convention Centre and also gave the filmmakers an opportunity to highlight the scale of their ambitious project. Sai’s bhajan performance comes amid a steady release of promotional material featuring her as Sita, including glimpses of the character in a warrior avatar.

The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman and Yash as Ravana.

Produced by Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana: Rise of a Legend is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, coinciding with Diwali. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, with screenings planned in IMAX and other premium formats.

Sony Pictures will manage international distribution outside India, while Dharma Productions will handle the theatrical release across Hindi-speaking markets. The film’s second instalment is scheduled to release during Diwali 2027.
