During the Bharat Jodo Yatra on Sunday morning, Congress activists were seen dancing shirtless in the Haryana town of Karnal. Holding banners, the young employees stood atop the bus.
The spirited workers could be seen dancing and tapping their feet to the music while they were without wearing shirts as the yatra continued to move. While Karnal recorded a minimum temperature of 4.5 degrees Celsius, the workers' actions astonished spectators.
International athletes, party leaders, and former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda joined Congressman Rahul Gandhi on his Bharat Jodo Yatra on Saturday in Haryana. From the neighboring Panipat district, the foot march entered the Karnal district as Gandhi made numerous stops to speak with villagers.
During the march, Gandhi and Lok Sabha MP Deepender Hooda met people from different lower social strata and a group of nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes, who expressed their challenges and engaged in a thorough conversation about their concerns.
On January 10, Yatra will cross into Punjab across the Shambhu border and travel to Fatehgarh Sahib. Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to speak at a public gathering on January 11 after offering obeisance at the Gurdwara Sahib and before beginning the Punjab leg of his foot contest.
Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, has recently made news for typically wearing a basic polo t-shirt to public events, including those in Delhi, which is currently experiencing a cold wave. Gandhi eventually clarified the issue of donning the same T-shirt in response to a reporter's inquiry. A few days earlier, he declared, "I'll keep wearing it until I can. T-shirt hi chal rahi hai aur jab tak chal rahi hai chalayenge."
Additionally, he claimed that while the media took notice of his t-shirt, they neglected to inquire about the ripped clothing worn by the nearby workers and farmers.
