On Sunday morning at about 9:30 am, an adult movie took the place of the advertising playing on the TV screens built at Patna Junction train station in Bihar for three minutes, leaving hundreds of passengers blushing.
Passengers immediately complained to the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force after being abandoned in divides (RPF).
The RPF called Dutta Communication, the company in charge of displaying adverts on the displays, after the GRP postponed taking action, and requested that the agency's operators stop playing the pornographic tape in front of people, including women and children.
Eventually, railroad officials also acted, and Dutta Communication was the target of an FIR. The Railways have placed the agency on a blacklist and fined it as well.
The contract that was granted to the agency for relaying advertisements on television screens at the railway station has reportedly been revoked, according to persons with knowledge of the matter.
The railway agency is looking into the situation on its own. When this was going on, some officials questioned why the movie was only aired on platform 10.
