During CBI raids, a Bengal TMC MLA throws cellphones into a pond

 


TMC MLA Jiban Krishna Saha said during a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raid at his home MLA Jiban Krishna Saha was accused of tossing two of his cell phones into a pond next to his home during a raid by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at his residence.

According to a CBI source, the MLA from the Burwan seat stole his two cell phones from CBI investigators and then threw them away out of despair. The TMC leader was being questioned in relation to the West Bengali teacher recruitment fraud. Threw two of his cell phones into a pond close to his house.

A search effort was started to find the gadgets. The CBI has so far found six bags in a pond close to the home of the TMC MLA.

On Friday, a team from the central investigation agency and the central security force arrived at his Murshidabad district home. According to a source, the investigation agency confiscated various damning documents for recruiting applicants from his premises.

Saha grabbed his cellphones from CBI agents and flung them into a nearby pond out of what appeared to be desperation.

"Finding those mobile phones will help us gather more information about his involvement in the scheme. These phones can be used to recover digital data and evidence, according to the CBI source.

In reality, the CBI chose to draw water from the pond on Friday. To draw water from the pond, a pump was erected. To hasten the process, two additional motor pumps were put into the pond on Saturday morning.

The central investigation agency was holding the accused TMC MLA Jiban Krishna Saha inside his residence at the time. The CBI has been questioning Saha for the past 24 hours.
