Locals discovered the body of the missing youngster on Thursday. She belongs to the Rajbongshi community, according to reports. Police have detained one person in relation to the girl's passing.
The neighborhood protested to seek justice for the girl after hearing allegations that she had been raped and died. They obstructed traffic during the demonstrations and smashed tables and chairs at local stores. After learning of the villagers' destruction, authorities showed up at the scene and charged the vandals with lathes. Tear gas shells were also fired by police to calm the situation. A few residents have also been detained.
Amit Malviya, the head of the BJP's IT cell, posted a video of some police officers dragging the victim's body. The young girl belonged to the Rajbongshi community, he added.
