According to Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha member P C Mohan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct a 36.6-kilometer roadshow on Saturday in the capital of Karnataka, Bengaluru.
He has visited the districts of Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, and Belagavi just today as part of his current state tour. In recent days, he has held a number of rallies and spoken at numerous public events in the state that is close to casting his vote.
Amit Shah, the union home minister, JP Nadda, the head of the BJP at the national level, and Congressmen Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi are in the southern state for outreach initiatives.
According to Mohan, the PM Modi roadshow would traverse through 17 of the city's Assembly districts. It will be a significant component of the BJP's campaign for the Karnataka Assembly elections on May 10.
PM Modi said he would travel the first 10 km in three hours between 11 am and 1 pm and the final 26.5 km in six hours between 4 pm and 10 pm.
Last Saturday, while in town, the prime minister conducted a 5.3-mile roadshow across areas of Sumanahalli, the NICE Road Junction, and Magadi Road. He spent the weekend in the state for two days, holding two roadshows and six public engagements.
The voting in Karnataka is slated for next Wednesday, and the results will be announced on May 13.
