Adopted Ukrainian kills American parents in Florida, gets jailed at age 21

In Florida, a 21-year-old man has been apprehended and charged with the gruesome murder of his American parents, who had rescued him from a prison-like orphanage in Ukraine and formally adopted him seven years ago.

This tragic incident occurred on Friday, September 1st, when the accused, identified as Dima Tower, carried out the killings of his parents, Robbie and Jennifer Tower, who also worked as real estate agents.

The New York Post reports that the suspect is now facing murder charges in connection with the horrifying incident. Authorities were alerted to the crime by neighbors of the couple, who promptly reported the situation.

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered the lifeless bodies of the couple, lying in a pool of blood within the confines of their residence.

According to the report, following the crime, the accused initially fled the scene in a vehicle that had been purchased for him by his adoptive American parents. Ultimately, he abandoned the vehicle and fled into nearby woods. It wasn't until Saturday morning that authorities managed to apprehend him.

Further details about the accused's tragic background indicate that he lost his mother during childhood and was subsequently abandoned by his alcoholic father.

Robbie Tower's uncle, Warren Rines, commented on the incident, sharing that the couple had adopted Dima Tower when he was 14 years old, despite his troubled past. Rines also revealed that the couple had faced challenges in conceiving a child of their own.

The deceased couple had a history of participating in Christian missions in Ukraine, as cited in the report by Rines.

Three years ago, Rines mentioned that the couple was compelled to involve the police when Dima assaulted Robbie, leaving him with a black eye. Following this incident, the accused was temporarily sent to live with Jennifer's relatives, but Robbie later insisted on his return home.

In the meantime, law enforcement authorities are conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the motive behind this tragic and deeply distressing act of violence.
