During the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations in Karnataka's Kolar, a Muslim organization known as Anjuman-e-Islam decided to adorn the event with two hoardings resembling swords for decorative purposes. However, it came to light that these installations were undertaken without the requisite authorization from municipal authorities, as confirmed by the Kolar Police.
Upon being informed of the situation, the Kolar police promptly arrived at the location and made a request to Anjuman-e-Islam to dismantle the hoardings. In response to the police's request, the organization willingly complied, leading to the removal of the hoardings from the vicinity.
Notably, there has been no formal complaint lodged by the police regarding this incident.
Kolar SP M Narayana explained, "The organizers from Anjuman-e-Islam erected these hoardings to enhance the visual appeal of the route for the Eid Milad procession. However, they failed to obtain prior permission from the Kolar municipality or the police. Consequently, at the behest of the police, the organizers voluntarily disassembled the hoardings."
The police have further assured that the situation in Kolar remains tranquil, with an expected participation of thousands of individuals in the Eid Milad procession.
