Rahul Gandhi explores the furniture industry in Delhi and practices his woodworking skills

On Thursday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid a visit to the bustling furniture market located in Kirti Nagar, Delhi. During his visit, he engaged in meaningful interactions with the skilled carpenters and diligent workers who populated this vibrant market.

Captured in videos and images shared by the Congress, Rahul Gandhi was depicted actively collaborating with the artisans, demonstrating his genuine interest in their craft.

Taking to the microblogging platform X, Rahul Gandhi shared his reflections on the experience, stating, "I went to explore Asia's largest furniture market in Kirti Nagar, Delhi, and had the privilege of meeting the dedicated carpenter brothers today. These individuals not only possess a strong work ethic but also showcase their remarkable artistry in crafting durability and beauty!" (sic)

In addition, he posted a photograph from his visit and noted that he engaged in extensive conversations with the artisans. He also expressed his intent to gain insights into their skills and acquire a bit of knowledge in the process.

This outreach effort follows a previous instance on September 21 when Rahul Gandhi was observed engaging with porters at the Anand Vihar Railway Station in Delhi. During this encounter, he took the time to discuss their challenges, donned the porters' distinctive red attire, and even hoisted luggage above his head.

The Congress shared this heartwarming interaction on X, dubbing Rahul Gandhi the "people's hero" and highlighting the desire expressed by the railway station's porters to meet him.

Rahul Gandhi's commitment to connecting with diverse segments of society remains evident, encompassing interactions with mechanics, students, and various social groups. He continues to emphasize that his Bharat Jodo Yatra, which took him from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, is an ongoing endeavor marked by these meaningful engagements. Most recently, he visited Ladakh, where he engaged with a range of societal sectors, exemplifying his dedication to connecting with the people.
