Anju, a Facebook buddy from Pakistan, eventually gets to see her kids in Delhi

Anju, a 35-year-old woman originally from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, embarked on a journey to Pakistan to marry her Facebook friend, Nasrullah. After her return to India, she has now reunited with her children—a 15-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son. In an exclusive interview with AajTak/India Today TV, Anju shared insights into her current life and plans.

Presently residing in a rented accommodation in Delhi, Anju is actively seeking new job opportunities. She expressed her focus on being with her children and residing in Delhi, intending to resume her job search once she achieves stability.

Anju emphasized her return to India for the sake of her children, stating, "I have returned to India for my children, and finally, I have met them. Both my kids are happy, and we are having a good time together."

She mentioned that her newly-wedded husband, Nasrullah, is planning to visit India soon, expressing a desire to show him around the country.

Addressing the issue of divorce from her previous husband, Arvind, Anju explained that she is currently preoccupied with spending time with her children. She acknowledged that the legal process would be addressed later, considering that her documents are currently in Bhilwara, and she would need to visit the location for further proceedings. For the time being, her priority is dedicating her entire time to her children.

Anju gained attention earlier this year when she ventured to Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to marry Nasrullah, whom she had met and fallen in love with on Facebook. Undergoing a conversion to Islam, she adopted the name Fatima. Upon her return to India via the Wagah border, Anju faced questioning from Punjab Police's intelligence team and the Intelligence Bureau in Amritsar. Subsequently, she was granted permission to fly to Delhi on Wednesday.
