BJP to meet at Ram Mandir; JP Nadda and Amit Shah will be in attendance

In connection with the forthcoming consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir, slated for January 22, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to convene a meeting on Tuesday. This crucial gathering will witness the participation of prominent party figures, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda, alongside two representatives from each state.

Sources disclosed to India Today last month that the BJP has outlined a comprehensive strategy to capitalize on the religious and cultural significance of the Ram temple consecration ceremony in its electoral campaign, with an eye on the upcoming Lok Sabha polls scheduled for this year. As part of this initiative, a booklet highlighting the BJP's instrumental role in the Ram Mandir movement and the subsequent construction of the temple will be released. Additionally, booth-level programs are slated to be organized to establish connections with new voters ahead of the impending Lok Sabha polls.

Throughout its campaign, the BJP intends to spotlight the efforts made by opposition parties to impede the construction of the temple. Furthermore, the party has committed to active participation and support for events organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) associated with the Ram Temple.

Of significance, the first phase of the temple's construction is nearing completion, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to partake in the "Pran pratishtha" of the Ram Lalla idol on January 22. The temple complex, designed in the traditional Nagara style, will boast dimensions of 380 feet in length (east-west direction), 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height. Each floor of the temple will stand at 20 feet, incorporating a total of 392 pillars and 44 gates. The upcoming meeting underscores the BJP's organizational efforts and strategic planning as it gears up for the landmark event and aligns its political narrative with the cultural and religious sentiments associated with the Ram Mandir.
