A case has been officially registered after the vandalization of a plaque dedicated to the late Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, NT Rama Rao, in Chittoor district. The incident involved the deliberate damage of the NTR plaque situated in Upper Palakur, and the perpetrators went further by placing a garland of shoes on the residence of the esteemed TDP leader within the village.
This occurrence has raised concerns within the local community, prompting an immediate investigation by the Puttur Police into the matter. Puttur Sub-Inspector Rambhopal stated, "The goal is to identify and arrest those responsible for this act," emphasizing the commitment to uncovering the individuals involved in the vandalism and taking appropriate legal action.
