Watch: A woman from North Carolina sobs on stage after winning a million dollars in the lottery

A woman hailing from the state of North Carolina in the United States experienced a moment of sheer disbelief and collapsed on stage after winning one million dollars in a New Year's Eve lottery. The incident, captured in a widely shared video on social media, depicts Pamela Bradshaw's emotional reaction as she falls to the ground upon hearing the announcement of her lottery win during the New Year's Rockin' Eve event hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

Pamela Bradshaw, who had never previously visited New York City, secured a VIP trip to the city through a second-chance drawing organized by the state lottery. She was one of the five Powerball players selected nationwide with the chance to win a substantial prize of $1 million.

Ryan Seacrest enthusiastically declared her as the winner shortly after midnight, leading to Bradshaw's emotional collapse on stage. After regaining her composure with assistance from the host and her daughter Joanna Hinson, a visibly stunned Bradshaw exclaimed, "Oh my god!" and expressed her gratitude, stating, "I’m so blessed."

According to a report by The New York Post, Bradshaw, who never expected such a turn of fortune, intends to utilize the lottery winnings to purchase a new home. She shared her modest aspirations, saying, "I would love to have my own home that is mine and that I feel safe in. Not anything fancy or big, just a little cottage or something with one or two bedrooms."
