In Telangana's Secunderabad, a disturbing incident unfolded where a man allegedly doused his brother in petrol and ignited flames amid a property dispute. The shocking episode, captured on CCTV, has since circulated widely on social media platforms, shedding light on the harrowing ordeal.
According to the surveillance footage, the distressing altercation transpired on January 20, 2024, at approximately 5:30 am, revealing the tragic sequence of events.
The dispute between the siblings reportedly stemmed from a disagreement regarding access to a narrow pathway adjacent to the residence of the accused, identified as Kondikonda Vinod.
As tensions flared between the brothers, matters took a catastrophic turn when Vinod purportedly unleashed a bottle of petrol upon his brother, Kondikonda Srinivas, before igniting the fuel with a matchstick.
Prompt intervention from nearby residents managed to quell the flames. Nevertheless, Srinivas sustained grievous injuries to both his head and body, necessitating immediate medical attention at Gandhi Hospital.
