RCB vs. KKR: After an odd dismissal in Kolkata, an enraged Virat Kohli lashes out at the umpire

Virat Kohli's dismissal during the KKR vs RCB match at the Eden Gardens left him visibly enraged, as he vehemently contested the decision with the umpires. After scoring 18 runs off just 7 deliveries, Kohli fell victim to a Harshit Rana slower delivery, resulting in a clean catch. However, what followed sparked confusion and frustration.

Despite widespread belief, including from commentators, that Rana's delivery was a no-ball, the umpires reviewed the incident, ultimately ruling it a fair delivery. This decision left Kohli bewildered and incensed, with even RCB captain Faf du Plessis engaging in an animated conversation with the umpires.

Initially walking off the field, Kohli returned to confront the umpires before exiting. Throughout this exchange, he displayed visible signs of frustration, shaking his head and expressing his disbelief to his team members. Kohli's dismissal came at a crucial juncture, especially considering his promising form during the match, which included notable shots like a no-look stroke off Mitchell Starc.

In the match, KKR, batting first, received a flying start from Phil Salt, who scored 48 runs off just 14 balls. Despite a few quick wickets, contributions from Shreyas Iyer, Ramandeep Singh, and Andre Russell propelled KKR to a formidable total of 222 runs in their allotted 20 overs.
