Vijay makes "it all worth it": Trisha's heartfelt birthday message for CM amid controversy

The rumours about an alleged rift between actor Trisha Krishnan and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay were put to rest after Trisha shared a birthday post that quickly went viral online.

Speculation had begun circulating on social media after claims that Trisha had unfollowed Vijay on Instagram and had not posted any birthday message for his 52nd birthday on June 22. This led to widespread discussion about a possible fallout between the two.

However, the speculation was later dismissed after it emerged that Trisha had never followed Vijay on Instagram in the first place, making the “unfollow” narrative incorrect.

Shortly after the rumours gained traction, Trisha posted a photo from Vijay’s midnight birthday celebration. The image showed Vijay dressed casually and smiling in front of birthday cakes, while Trisha stood beside him. She captioned the post, “To the person who makes it all worth it, HBD 00.00.”

The post immediately drew attention online due to their long-standing association in Tamil cinema and frequent public appearances together.

The two have worked together in several films, including Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi, Kuruvi, Leo and The Greatest of All Time, and remain one of the most recognised on-screen pairings in Tamil cinema.

Meanwhile, Vijay’s personal life has also been in the news, with his ongoing divorce proceedings involving his estranged wife Sangeetha Sornalingam. The case was recently heard at the Chengalpattu Mahila Court and has been adjourned to August 7.
